Pull-Apart Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Bread

I got my recipe from Sunnysideup.com.

Pull-apart cinnamon sugar pumpkin bread would make a great dessert or snack. The main ingredients are fresh hand made bread, pumpkin puree, and of course sugar. We used refrigerated crescent rolls. I don't think it makes much of a difference though.

I liked this recipe it turned out really great. It tasted really similar to a cinnamon roll, but you could still taste some pumpkin.

One thing I liked about this recipe is that it was really easy to make. If you use crescent rolls it won't take that long, but if you make your own bread it might take a little longer to wait for the bread to rise then wait for it to cook.  There was nothing I didn't like about this recipe.

One thing I would change about this recipe is how much glaze you make. There was a lot of glaze still left. It was kind of drowning our cinnamon pumpkin bread even when we poked wholes in it so the bread can soak up the glaze. I also think the glaze could use some more powdered sugar so the glaze is more thick.

Ginger Snap Pumpkin Parfaits

Ginger Snap Pumpkin Parfaits would make a tasty dessert, for Thanksgiving.
Found at- www.bhg.com

I personally thought it was going to taste better than it did. We had to add sugar and more spices to make the taste of pumpkin not as strong. When I first tasted it I thought it kind of tasted like Spaghetti O's. Then once you started to eat it the crumble was the best tasting part of it. It had a brown sugar taste with whipped cream on for the topping which was sweet.

My like and dislikes are varied. I like the crumble on the top of the parfait, it had a sweet taste. I dislike the pumpkin taste, because it didn't taste like pumpkin. Also I disliked how we had to add sugar and spices to make the dessert taste better than it should have. I like the whipped cream on how we had to make it ourselves it was much better tasting after we added some sugar! I also liked how he dessert looked as a finished product!

I would serve milk or maybe water with this dessert. Because the taste of the two drinks wouldn't over power the parfait.

Some of the changes I would make is, to use less pumpkin and maybe add something else, like more cinnamon to make it taste more like a pumpkin pie. Or I would add some more crumble on the top of the parfait, because it was my favorite part of the dessert.

Pumpkin Cookies!

I made Pumpkin Cookies. They are very moist. They aren't hard like normal cookies. They are soft, almost like the tops of muffins. They have a very strong pumpkin and cinnamon flavor.

It was okay.. I didn't like it that well. It wasn't like horrible because I could eat them. I'm just not a big fan of Pumpkin flavored things.. I thought that the cinnamon and pumpkin were over powering. It was better then I thought it was going to be though. I liked it enough to eat it once but I would not make it if I had the choice..

I liked that it was that it was soft like muffins and didn't have the texture of a hard cookie. I didn't like all the pumpkin taste. I didn't like the over powering cinnamon taste. I didn't like that there was so much butter in it because it's so fattening. I didn't like how dense they were.

I would serve this with coffee and maybe milk. They might go well with ice cream too.

I would put less pumpkin flavor in it and a lot less cinnamon in it. I might put a little less butter in it because it has a lot of butter in it but I think that the butter made them so soft.

Pumpkin Pillows

Recipe from: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/pumpkin-pillows-127535.aspx

Pumpkin pillows would be a wonderful dessert to bring to a family gathering or a good snack for any occasion. The main ingredients in this recipe are pumpkin, cream cheese, and won tons. This recipe was very easy to make with great directions to follow.

I thought that the pumpkin pillows were wonderful. The sprinkled powdered sugar on top along with the carmel sauce to dip it made the pillows taste even better. The dip and pillows were delicious! I wasn't quite certain what it might taste like, but I was very pleased with the way they tasted.

I liked that you could taste that pumpkin, but that it wasn't the only thing you could taste. I liked how the recipe had good directions, it made the whole recipe easier to make. I disliked that the pillows became miss formed when they were in the cooking pan. The carmel sauce was my favorite part of the recipe! It was very sweet with a hint of some cinnamon and other spices. I also liked that the finished product had a nice appearance.

I would serve these pumpkin pillows with other desserts around fall time. I think that milk or some warm apple cider would go great with this delicious snack! You could dip these in any other sauce you find desirable, I just prefer the carmel sauce.

One change I would make to this recipe is that once you put the pumpkin and cream cheese mixture inside of the won ton and fold it over, that you refrigerate them for awhile. After being in the fridge awhile they fried much easier. Before we had problems with the pillows popping and exploding.

Pumpkin-Chocolate Cheesecake Bars

It is exactly what its name tells you!
I got it from this website @ http://www.bhg.com/thanksgiving/recipes/pumpkin-recipes/

The Pumpkin-Chocolate Cheesecake Bars were delicious.  I thought they would be sweeter than what they were.  I think the Sour Cream topping was not chilled enough, before eating.  You should listen to the directions very carefully.

I liked how the bottom was very sweet.  It wasn't to terribly cold upon my teeth.  It came out looking edible and very presentable.  I did not like how it was a very long process to come out with this product.  The Sour Cream top was not very good on this product, although if chilled correctly it would have tasted better.

I would reccomend a warm drink with it such as coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, or hot apple cider.  I would recommend this dish as a desert.  It would be a great dish for Thanksgiving.

To improve this product i would use more graham cracker and more chocolate.  I would probably use more of the cheesecake icing, and I would probably make a smaller portion or even make it into a pie.

Swirled Pumpkin and Chocolate Cheesecake

Pumpkin and Chocolate Cheesecake would make a better cheesecake if you are tried of normal, ordinary cheesecake flavors. We found the recipe at Dessert Recipes for WomansDay.com. This cheesecake calls for pumpkin, double dose of chocolate with a chocolate wafer crust and melted chocolate on top with any kind of design you like.

I tasted it and was disappointed because I did not like the taste of it. I like pumpkin but I think it was to much pumpkin for me. It was not what I expected. I thought that if it had less pumpkin and regular crust not chocolate crust it might have been better.

What I disliked about it was the it started coming apart at the middle. I thought it also might have been better if we waited till it was completely cold and not warm still. I also thought that if the chocolate would have been more mixed throughout the whole thing instead of the top that would of made the pumpkin not as strong. I also didn't like how there was much crust and that it took a long time and some effort to make it. I also thought that the recipe made to much of it and that I couldn't eat one piece. The only thing that I liked was the look of it all together except for it coming apart at the middle.

Things you could have it with are you could serve it with whipped cream on top. For a drink you could have milk. Even though I didn't like it, this would make an excellent Halloween treat or even Thanksgiving dessert.

I would change the amount of pumpkin that is put into it and more crust or just plain crust. I don't think the pumpkin and chocolate are such a good mix, peanut butter and chocolate are definitely a better combo and I think you could even do peanut butter instead of pumpkin and it would be amazing. I also would cut back on the filling amount I think there was way to much filling.

pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

We found a similar recipe to the one we used on www.pumpkinnook.com/cookbook/recipe05.htm.  The main ingredients we used were pumpkin, chocolate chips, sugar, flour, and other spices.  The cookies came out slightly misshapen, but they were pretty good.

I thought that the cookies were pretty good.  The pumpkin lost most of its taste when it was cooked, and I don't usually eat pumpkin and I liked that.  I expected it to have a strong pumpkin taste.  they are pumpkin cookies, one would expect them to taste heavily of pumpkin.

I liked that the cookie recipe called for chocolate chips.  I liked how the pumpkin lost most of its flavor when it was cooked.  I liked how it wasn't an overcomplicated recipe.  I didn't like the pumpkin in the cookies, I don't like pumpkin.  I didn't like the smell of the pumpkin before my group had taken it out of the can, it smelled weird.

I would serve these cookies with milk and ice cream.  Milk goes good with cookies.  Ice cream also goes good with cookies.  I would also serve it with cake or pie.

I would add a box of pudding mix to make the cookies more moist.  I would also take the pumpkin out of the recipe.  I would also add more chocolate chips, you can never have enough chocolate chips.

pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

We found a similar recipe at www.pumpkinnook.com.
These cookies make a great afternoon snack.
I personally think they were very good. Even after a day after finished baking they are still very chewy.
It is very moist and a long lasting flavor.
They did not turn out to be what I thought, they were much better and I'm not even a big pumpkin fan.
I really like how they kept their consistency. I like the chocolate chips with pumpkin taste and how it has a long after taste. I also like how they are very moist.
I would generally just serve this with milk.
Something I would to add to the recipe would be to add more sugar for a sweeter taste.

Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake bars

These are pumpkin chocolate cheesecake bars that group Lorraine, Mark, and Justin made during our fifth period foods I class. The website that the recipe was on was betterhomesandgardens.com. The taste of our bars was kind of bad tasting. The chocolate was burnt because the other foods I class to our pan we made the day before. The sour cream frosting was funky tasting. I expected it to taste a lot better than it did though. I didn't like the taste of the  sour cream frosting. I liked that the sour cream frosting was easy to make though. I didn't like that other class took our perfect bars that we hadn't frosted yet. I liked that our group worked really good together to make them even though it may have didn't sound like it. I liked that the chocolate/pumpkin mixture tasted good yesterday when we had ours we made. I would serve this with ice cream for dessert with eggnog. I would change the frosting to be  cream cheese frosting maybe or some other kind of frosting to make them taste better.

We got this on all recipes.com. These pancakes are perfect if you want a little twist to your pancakes. If you ever get tired of eating plain pancakes I would try these!

Mr. Kelderman was expecting before his first bite that it would taste a lot like pumpkin, but it didn't. He said that there really wasn't a taste but he liked it. He said that it was more moist than a regular pancake but he liked it.

Mr. Kelderman liked how moist it was and that it didn't taste a whole lot like pumpkin.  One thing he didn't like was one of them was a little burnt. Other than that he liked everything else. Something I liked about the recipe was it was different from a regular pancake recipe. Something I didn't like was they were really thick and they got a little done on the outside and not all the way done the inside.

Something I would serve with pumpkin pancakes would probably be milk or orange juice. Also maybe eggs, or hash browns. Anything that is breakfast I would serve with it.

Something I would change would be the thickness. I would change it because it was to thick and the middle didn't get cooked very well. So I reccomend putting some liquid in it like milk.

Pumpkin Pancakes

Recipe from: all recipes.com

Pumpkin Pancakes would make a good breakfast or dessert. The main ingredients are pumpkin, spices, and dry ingredients.

Mr. Augustin liked the thickness of the pancakes. He said they were really fluffy and firm. The flavor was subtle. He liked them with just butter, and said they didn't need syrup. The only thing he didn't like about them was that one of them was overcooked. I thought that the recipe was easy to make. It didn't take too long to make the pancakes. I thought that they turned out really good. Everyone said that they tasted really good.

Foods and drinks I would serve with it, would be: milk, fruit, maple syrup (or pumpkin syrup), ice cream, and orange juice.

If I could make any changes, I would have put more milk in the batter to make it runnier. The batter was thick and the pancakes were really fat. Some of them got cooked too long. I also would have made them bigger.

Pumpkin Pancakes

I found the recipe at http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pumpkin-pancakes/.
Pumpkin Pancakes would make a great breakfast meal. The main ingredients are pumpkin puree, eggs, flour, baking soda and powder, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, and brown sugar. Pumpkin pancakes taste just like pancakes but with a little pumpkin flavor.
The Pumpkin pancakes tasted really good. I thought it was going to taste a lot like pumpkins, but it only had a little pumpkin taste which was good. I liked it tasted like a normal pancake also it had a little pumpkin taste. I didn't like about it was the color it looked brownish orange. Another thing is that some bits had a little to much pumpkin taste. I liked the texture and the thickness. I would suggest to have milk with it and some sausage and bacon. If i could make any changes to the product i would have put just a little less pumpkin puree in it.

Pumpkin

These pumpkin cookies we made are very good, they are soft and chewy and have subtle hint of spice. They would be great served with milk The recipe made a total of 48 cookies. They taste a lot like pumpkin pie but not as rich as i would have thought. Mrs. V thought they were very soft. I liked everything about them. If i could improve anything about them i would frost them.

Mini Pumpkin Pie Crescents

Recipe from: http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/2012/08/mini-pumpkin-pie-crescents-recipe.html

Mini pumpkin pie crescents would make a perfect breakfast, snack, or dessert.  The main ingredients are refrigerator crescent rolls, pumpkin pie filling, cream cheese, and spices.  This bite sized snack is supposed to taste similar to pumpkin pie.

I really liked this recipe.  I thought it turned out great.  The flavor wasn't too overwhelming, but you could definitely taste the pumpkin and the spices.  I thought the mini pumpkin pie crescents were even better than pumpkin pie because I prefer the crescent roll to pie crust.

One thing I liked about this recipe was that it was easy to make because there weren't too many ingredients.  I also liked how quick it was.  It only took about 35 minutes to prepare, bake, and clean up.  I thought the size was perfect because you could eat 2-3 and not feel stuffed. Lastly, I thought the taste was really good.  The cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice added a lot of flavor.  The only thing I didn't like about this recipe was that it only used 1 cup of canned pumpkin and half a block of cream cheese, so what I didn't use will probably end up going to waste.

I liked the mini pumpkin pies plain, but you could eat them with whipped topping.  I also think some warm apple cider would make this a perfect fall snack.

One change I would make to this recipe would be to cut it in half.  It made 32 mini pumpkin pies, which is more than I could eat.  I think I may also try spraying the pan lightly next time to make the pan easier to wash.
